A traditional copper coloured bitter. When matured for a week and a half in cask with added priming sugar, the resulting pint is creamy and malty with a pronounced bitterness level balanced by a sweet undercurrent. The Goldings provide hop aroma and the famous Oakwell Yeast strain imparts bags of yeast character. This is not a one-dimensional drink but a complex blend of finely balanced flavours, which leaves you wanting the next pint before you’ve finished the one you’re on.
