A traditional English pale ale. Well hopped, refreshing and satisfying with bags of malt characteristics. Creamy head…all the way down the glass. Previous winner of a Bronze medal at the Great British Beer Festival!

pint on cask at the Bon Accord, Glasgow, Scotland

L: clear gold topped with creamy, thick head of offwhite/beige foam that sticks to the glass and laces on the way down
S: roasted corn with sweet bready malt notes, hints of peach; toasted wood ... not burnt but lightly toasted
T: follows the nose closely with a simple but discernible bitter bite of earthy hops
F: crisp enough up front, a bit soft over the 2nd half of the pint ... all around solid for the style
O: a lovely pale ale with a nice roasted/toasted character that's a little different from the norm
