Tomskoye Pivo

I had this at the brewery restaurant in Tomsk. It came out a deep clear gold under a fizzy white head that disappeared much too quickly, leaving no lace. The smell was mild and, well, fizzy, a bit too much like soda. The mouth was a bit over carbonated, but smooth. The initial taste was nice, fresh and crisp, with good malts followed by a health bordering on harsh bite. I liked it, despite the rice they put in it.
