Pours black with a finger of khaki foam. Head retention is good. Aroma is coconut, but mild, with lightly roasty and toasty malts and rich caramel and molasses. Flavor profile carries the same depth, with earthy roasty and toasty malts right up front. Malts break away to form dessert like caramel and molasses with a dab of coconut. There is a little lactose sweetness on the very back. Mouth feel is medium-thick with a velvety, lightly creamy texture. Overall, drinks really nice despite minimal coconut.

On tap. Poured an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It smelled of toasted coconut, chocolate and toffee. Nice roasted malt taste with chocolate, coconut and toffee.
