Pours black with two fingers of khaki foam that forms and retains beautifully. Aroma is roasty, toasty, nutty, caramely, bready malts that get up-lifted and lightened by the nitro. Flavor profile is roasty, toasty, nutty, earthy, and bready malts with a little toffee, coffee and chocolate sweetness behind it. While dark, it drinks light, in part due to the flavor profile and feel. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a creamy, light-bodied texture that just floats across the palate. Overall, malt notes are sound and firm, while the nitro helps it tread lightly across the palate.
