Pours a dark brown that is nearly black. Aroma is nutty, earthy, caramely, toasty malts with little bits of caramel and toffee. Minor malt bitterness up front with a lightly sweet finish. Flavor profile is toasty, nutty, caramely, earthy malts. Caramel, chocolate, and toffee adds a little sweetness, along with coffee. Mouth feel is medium-thick with a soft, creamy texture. Overall, great English porter with no additional frills or thrills.
