Imperial Milk Stout w/ Rochester Coffee

Pours black with a finger of dark caramel foam. Head retention is okay. Aroma is roasty coffee with toffee, molasses, chocolate and vanilla bean with roasty and toasty malts. Coffee is bold and robust - very great. Flavor profile is chocolate, toffee, roasty coffee and roasty and toasty malts. Coffee is less robust in the flavor profile than the aroma. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a rather moderate effervescence that carries just a little pricky carbonation at the back. Overall, coffee is huge and robust in the aroma in the best of ways, with the flavor profile falling a little short. Still, it makes for a solid stout.

Served in a 12oz snifter from a 12oz can. Canned on 11/1 and consumed on 11/15.
