I picked up a 16oz can ($5.50) of this at the Brewery after trying some samples there on 23FEB20.
Filling my snifter, it's a slightly hazy, bright golden color. Has scattered carbo, along with a thin, sparse head. The foam is mostly rim-clinging and white, with light lacing. Smells of green fruit with some candi-sugar action thrown in. Rather pleasant smelling... Body is about medium, and it has light prickle, though nothing too rough.
Flavor is quite fruity, melding the green fruit typical of a Tripel and the citrus of the Cascade hops. There's pear, green apple and white grapes, along with some rindy grapefruit. Also has more candi-sugar, with some earthy, yeasty notes in the lightly dry finsih. An interesting, and tasty, bier! Prosit!
