Formerly: Farmhouse Berry Gose

Farmberry Gose is our labor of love. We are excited to bring it back as teh first edition in our new Feelin' Good // Sour Ale Series. For this one we take our Flowing Well Goe and add blackberries and blueberries from Pretoria Fields farms, along with Georgia Grown strawberries and raspberries to create this gorgeous pink-hued sour ale. Bright and fruity, tart and refreshing, it's a Summer Sour like no other!

Nice color, and unfortunately that’s about all I can give it. If it weren’t for the over abundance of buttered popcorn notes from the diacetyl, the softer undertones of salted, seedy raspberries was nice. A real bummer here.

12 ounce can - $2.99 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Appearance: Pours a lightly hazed, light reddish-pink tinged body with a collapsing, whitish head.

Smell: Spritzy, berry infused aroma with a tangy undertone of lactic sourness stink.

Taste: Very light flavor of wheat with a dose of berry juices cut by curt hints of berryskins. Soft tartness, modest sweetness with a blended berry taste. Its salinity and lactic qualities remain comparatively light. Maintains its lightly tart, sweet berry flavor through the finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation.

Overall: A competent gose that features ample berry taste without feeling the need to overdo it, so you're still aware you're drinking a beer (welcome) instead of some "adult" smoothie (absolutely unwelcome).

Good, natural tasting, easy drinking, fresh, clean, colorful berry ale, canned in January, drunk in February, not too berry either.
