Sampled at the WBF-08 in Gouda.
Appearance is dark brown with a thin head.
Smell is sweet malty with caramel notes. A roasted smell that is pretty mild. Some hard candy and liquorice notes. Some hoppy notes.
Taste is malty with chocolate and caramel notes. Some roasted notes that are mild and remind me of dark chocolate. The beer is sweet, but not sticky sweet. The yeast is very nice and gives some fruit notes of peaches. One of the best beers of the festival.
