Pint can dated 2-27-19. Pours very hazy peach orange with little head. Slight aroma of citrus and pine. Tastes of peach with some bitter piney hops. Feel is excellent - fluid with a bite of carbonation and hops. Overall, this is a very fine beer right in the middle the American IPA range.

Canned 12 days ago. First canning run!

L -- Pours a hazy straw body with a finger of rocky white head produced with aerated pour. Some retention and spotty lacing
S -- Pineapple, green onion, red grapefruit, berry smoothie. Quite expressive for a session IPA
T -- Banana, crackery malt, mango, floral, strawberry, dry earthiness
F -- Light mouthfeel, medium+ carb. Practically zero bitterness on the finish and very dry, almost comes across as a Brut IPA
O -- It's hard not to be touched by the backstory behind this beer and it seems like the folks at Wandering Soul are good people. A nice entry on to the market, curious to try more offerings in the future

Color: A deep lemon haze that lights up the room – an ideal shade and vibrancy for the style! A wonderful snow- white head sits on top that is more frothy/foamy rather than just bubbly. A nice residual stickiness leaves lacing on the side of the glass too. Outstanding. 5.0

Aroma: Complex and varied florals at first– I’m primarily picking up lavender and bittersweet herbs enveloped in lush fruits, such as pear, mango, citrus and papaya. A bit of bubblegum comes through as well, intermingled with a pleasant powdery scent …A true delight! 5.0

Flavor: An initial splash of peach over the palate immediately reveals itself as a chariot for the resinous, bitter aspects that rush in next, taking center stage and lingering for a while. It’s clear that the yeast used really makes this unique hop bill shine – it’s got remarkable depth and character. This is head and shoulders above what I am used to from the store of what my friends typically get… It’s a tall order to ask for a beer with flavor like this that you can unwind with after work with without any worry of being hungover from, but here it is! I assume a massive amount of dry hopping efforts take a lot of credit here. 4.75

Body/Mouthfeel/Finish: This is where I think the real wizardry comes into play – as a big stout drinker I have extremely high demands when it comes to mouthfeel/body and Melody maker delivers! While it is a lighter-bodied beer there is a substantial coating of the palate and creaminess that’s perceived, followed up by a grainy/bready finish that I just love. Quite satiating! Seems like a bit of a European influence sprinkled in that is most welcome. 4.5

Overall: A joy to drink – it tastes like a much bigger beer so I’m enjoying it that much more because it’s an affordable dietary cheat, so to speak. I nearly went through the entire growler in one sitting – oops! It’s that good! Also of note for food pairings I found it went well with cheese an crackers, not so much with fruit. I’m very much looking forward to securing more of this when it comes out
