Everything Happens - Brand new one from Wandering Soul with the same grains as the popular Melody Maker, but with different, and new hop varieties. These include Citra, Rakau, Azacca, Idaho 7, MI Bitter Gold, & MI Chinook.
Appearance - Very attractive and an appropriately hazy yellow-orange color with a foamy pure white head. Leaves about 1/4" after it settles with a nice clinging to the glass also.
Aroma - The initial scents I am getting are of the fruity, tropical, and sweet kind. There is a powdery, fresh aspect I am picking up too.
The flavor opens with a momentary, tart fruitiness that is somewhat reminiscent of fruit candy/fruit snacks, and then the heart of it is a dank, dry type of hoppy bitterness. You can really taste the grains and they compliment the overall mix of things quite well, it's really balanced.
The finish is nice and long - it's bready, with a pleasant spice aspect to it. The mouthfeel is velvety, coating the palate well. Overall, I love it! It's very flavorful and unique, and truly an alchemical feat with so much flavor at just 49% ABV! Highly recommended for hop lovers, and for any everyday beer as well.
