Four Points Brewing

 

11/19/21 on an evening date with DW. Had been wanting to visit this place for awhile. Only 1/2 hour from our house.

Not glitzy or a place that will wow you, but the beer selection and quality was excellent. Our server, Susie, was very attentive and pleasant. Not many customers were in the place, which is a shame because the food was great as well! Highly recommend this small establishment with quality beer!

In a mostly residential area of downtown Charleroi, a few blocks from the river. co-located with a BBQ place, there is a take-out fridge with cans of beer, and take-out window for food. upstairs there is sit-down restaurant seating and draft beer. also some outdoor seating on the front porch. all the beers I've picked up from them have been solid.

Nice, small brewpub feel and I can't believe this is in Charleroi. Good selection of beers ranging from IPA's to German lagers though would like to see a Belgian or two. ESB was the standout for me. So much so, I had two. Also enjoyed the Mon City porter. Slight roast that complemented the coffee very well and no stale bell pepper taste. Wife had the Donora Smog RIS which she liked very much. Not unless you are from the area would you know the meaning of the name. They do have food from the adjoining BBQ which you can order from the bar which we did. BBQ was good, recommend the sticky ribs.

Overall, great atmosphere and will come back again. Did I say that I can't believe this in Charleroi?

 

Great beers at a new brewery in Charleroi. Every beer I tried was good. There is food here; service is good. This is an active brewery and you will smell it. Friendly locals and folks finding the place make a nice mix of clientele.
