12oz snifter from draft shows a nice dark brown body and briefly floats a 1in chestnut colored head of foam leaving erratic spotted lacing.
Aroma is a pleasing chocolate forward despite the menu indicating cinnamon and vanilla.
Flavors include chocolate and vanilla and maybe a whisp of cinnamon. No booze heat or flavor, which is scary at 11%.
Mouthfeel leans a fuller medium with a slight watery and gritty finish. Again no booze warmth.
Overall it's just ok. It's not going to hurt you, but there are better pastry stouts.
