500 ml bottle into a snifter. The 2024 edition, had 8/31/24.
Pours near black and opaque, with a brief head and no lacing. Aromas of coconut, vanilla, chocolate, bourbon as it warms, light pecan. Flavors of bourbon- more than the nose, coconut, vanilla, roasted malt, chocolate. Smooth, fairly creamy, a very good full body, appropriately carbonated.
A strong effort. It’s pretty much a liquid candy bar, with the add- ins being really vibrant-other than the pecans, in both the aroma and the flavor. Has a decent barrel presence, as well.
