I got a can of this beer from my good friend and old neighbor from the 'Wego. It poured an opaque dark with thin tan head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had dark chocolate and vanilla notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with rich dark chocolate base and vanilla extract highlights. The mouthfeel was fuller in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

I saw a Noon Whistle stout collab and had to buy it. Pretty good. Sweet, plenty of chocolate over a roasty dark malt base. Thick without being sticky or syrupy, and an alcohol presence/burn that makes me think it’s barrel aged. My brother in law, whom I shared it with, lives down the block from NW and said their stout game is probably their only weakness (even though it was done at Whiskey Hill). But I’ll be honest, I’m really glad i got it.
