500 ml bottle into a snifter. The 2024 edition, had 4/13/24.
Pours near black and opaque, with no head and coconut flecks that cling to the glass. Aromas of coconut, apple brandy, vanilla, chocolate, some cinnamon. The flavors are a little more expansive: vanilla, coconut, rye whiskey, apple brandy, roasted malt, chocolate, light cinnamon. Smooth, a little creamy, a very good full body, appropriately carbonated a touch on the lower side.
This is solid from top to bottom. Delicious and ample vanilla and coconut, a solid barrel presence, and a great base. Distinct aromas and flavors. Really enjoyable.

Dark, opaque black-brown color. Lots of floaties in the beer. No head whatsoever and appears to be flat.
Aroma is cinnamon, vanilla, vanilla cream, vanilla ice cream, and some chocolate. Absolutely delicious.
Taste follows the nose with the cinnamon and vanilla being the most prominent flavors. Barrel presence comes through both with a subtle oakiness but also with the sweet apple brandy notes. Roasted barley notes, chocolate malts,
Feel is thick, but not brownie batter thick. Light carbonation,
Overall a lovely barrel aged stout
