Pours pitch black with little to no head. Aroma is roasted malt, maple, and tons of coffee. Taste follows the nose with lots of coffee up front then maple and chocolate coming through underneath. Roasted malts, bourbon and oak come through as well. While there is other stuff coming through, coffee is the dominant flavor to the detriment of the other flavors. Feel is light, a bit thin. Moderate carbonation. Smooth and slick. A bit dry on the finish. Solid BA beer.
