500 ml bottle into a snifter. A 2023 release, had 12/8/23.
Pours near black and opaque, thick looking, with no head and no real lacing. Aromas of chocolate, malt, marshmallow, some bourbon and vanilla, some oak, light graham. Flavors of chocolate, bourbon- more as it warms, malt, vanilla, some marshmallow, light graham and oak. Smooth, a very good full body, appropriately carbonated.
The barrels are great and they show best fully warmed. Lots of aromas and flavors- vanilla is the standout and the graham raises its hand probably more than in any other beer I’ve tried with it. A solid effort, very enjoyable.
