Barrels:
1 - 4yr Wild Turkey, Chocolate Rye Base, 40 month aging period.
2 - 6yr Very Old Barton, Midnight Wheat Base, 10 month aging period.
Catalyst is our non-adjunct lineup meant to showcase how unique barrel aged beers can be depending on the barrels chosen and time spent developing in them.
For this iteration, we tasted through some of our most and least aged barrels to create a stout that had the deep oak and smoke notes of a 2.5 yr barrel aged stout and the prominent spirit heat and melded chocolate flavors of a 9 month barrel aged stout.
