500 ml bottle into a snifter. Released 10/2024, had 2/8/25.
Pours near black and opaque. Thick looking, with plentiful coconut floaters. No head, a thick, oily smear including floaters on the glass. Aromas of coconut, chocolate, malt, some rum, some bourbon as it warms, light oak. Flavors of coconut, bourbon, rum, chocolate, malt, light vanilla. Smooth, thick, creamy, a solid full body, appropriately carbonated.
Very well done. Coconut for days, and the barrels are solid enough- the rum barrels show better at first, the bourbon barrels show mostly after it warms. Truly thick with a great mouthfeel. Really enjoyable.
