Coffee black with a big, lumpy tan foam head.
Interestingly, it's not as utterly dominated by ol' Earl as I'd imagined. While it does have some of that minty cardamom character, the substantially roasty, toasty base is formidable enough to push back with some tobacco. It's actually an enjoyable contrast.
The medium body is quite frothy and finishes semi-wet.
