Clear dark brown, but redder at the bottom, with a short but dense khaki head settling to a fine film and creamy collar.
Cacao and melba malts are accented by hints of amaretto almond and red licorice. However, it feels a touch stronger than its listed as, perhaps from a touch of hop bite that I can't quite put my finger on.
It's got a medium body but minimal crispness and finishes semi-dry and slightly warming.
