Smells of slightly-roasted caramel malt, with a spicy rye note and hints of chocolate, coffee, dark fruit and black licorice. Taste follows the nose, being dominated by slightly-roasted caramel malt with a strong, bready, spicy rye presence reminiscent of pumpernickel bread and lighter notes of chocolate, coffee, vanilla, licorice, tobacco and dark fruit: fig and plum.
