Brewed in collaboration with the Akron Rugby Club to celebrate their 50th anniversary. A gold colored beer with a noticeable, but not overpowering, hop bitterness coming from Fuggle and East Kent Golding hops.

I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight whilst in Akron for biz net. It poured a slightly hazy golden white ring head that is leaving some nice lace. The scent had subtle citrus fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright malt base with crisp and bright citrus fruit bitterness. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This very solid pale pours a clear amber with
a fantastic head of white foam that settles to a thick layer with excellent lacing.
Nose of herbal hops, caramel, light breaded malts, and spicy hop notes. Flavors
surpass the nose with a fine English style presentation of light breaded malts,
nice malt backbone of caramel, spicy and herbal hops, and a nice citrus note
of orange zest on the rear. Nice mouth feel; medium light body, smooth,
light soft carbonation, and a balanced hop touched finish.
Overall---excellent brew in a traditional style, nothing fancy, just good!
Cheers

16 ounce can, canned on 8/20/21, purchased at the brewery a couple days ago. Served in a can style pint glass, the beer pours a somewhat clear amber color with about an inch or so off-white head that stuck around a long time. Great amount of lacing, too. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like dried fruit, caramel, earthy hops and bready/doughy malt. I think the taste is pretty much like the aroma, but with the addition of a hint of candied orange flavor. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's a bit slick and pretty easy to drink with a good amount of carbonation. I was impressed with this English Style Pale Ale, glad I tried it at Missing Falls and even more glad I bought a 4-pack to take home! Definitely worth stopping at the brewery if you're in the area!
