From the 16 oz can in a snifter via the brewery. This monster pours a chill
hazed medium amber with a very nice head of white foam that settles to a thick
ring, thick clumping layer, and sports some nice lacing. Nose of heavy pine, heavy
citrus, and resinous herbal hops amongst layers of caramel and breaded malts.
Flavors surpass the nose with resinous bitter pine, spicy hops, faint orange and
definite grapefruit with pith, caramel, and breaded malts. Nice mouth feel; medium
body, medium light effervescent zippy carbonation, and a bitter pine and grapefruit
finish that is medium dry.

Overall....needs some balance with a better malt backbone, good for the
extreme IPA folk out there.

Cheers

16 ounce can, canned on 10-5-22, thanks to Brutaltruth for picking up this one on a recent trip to Akron! Served in a chalice, the beer pours a somewhat clear amber color with about an inch or so off-white head. Head retention is good and there's a lot of lacing. The brew smells like stone fruit, grapefruit, orange and bready malt. Taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some tropical fruit and herbal hops. Nice bit of bitterness in the finish. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's slick and smooth with a good amount of carbonation. Thought this was a good overall triple IPA, definitely worth trying if you make it up to Missing Falls!
