Small and new , modern decorated barn interior. They had an old beer engine with it's inside on display, that was not in use. Much medium and light colored and lacquered wood for the walls and bar and table surfaces. Its' fun to see all the different ways in which breweries serve their tasting flights. These folks have nice little beveled wood pieces with notches cut into the corners in which the stems of mini brandy snifters slide into and the bases of the four glasses are suspended in air to make it easy to slide the little tasting glasses in and out. The handle was made of a T shaped industrial iron pipe section. Their beers are not good.

I visited Millwood Brewing last weekend while I was passing through town. Upon my visit, they had 12 taps including their own seltzer. Style selection is heavy on pales and blondes - not a revolutionary selection by any means but interesting. The porter was more of a ruby porter, so a bit sweet, and I wasn’t super impressed by the Millbilly IPA. Serviceable enough, but not great. The Madera de Molino lager, at 3.9%, is probably the best beer I had here. They serve it with a lime, which is not necessary, but it’s a credible Mexican lager. Overall the beer is maybe not great, but not terrible.
Service itself is good. The dude behind the bar was a nice guy. Build out is beautiful, wooden bar, a bit industrial but super welcoming with lots of knickknacks and pictures on the walls. In general I would say it's worth a visit if you happen to be in Millwood.

this place is cool, got a very americana sort of vibe to it, new, but eclectically adorned with things like old milk jugs and farm equipment and like old baseball gloves and stuff, not that i recall any of that specifically, but like those kind of country relics are all over the place in here, interesting, almost like a nicer applebees or something, kind of barn looking from the outside, but nicer and newer on the inside, with a living room sort of area to the left when you walk in, fireplace roaring, lots of comfy seating, feels like a family living area, really, there is a staircase going up to some lofted seating with a look into the brew house, and then the bar on the right with some long high tables, maybe eight seats or so at the bar where i posted up. they have a nice patio too, i bet it pops in the summer. plenty of parking here, neat and cozy vibe, wooden features, lots to look at. service was super friendly, informative, and cool with the sampling, this is exactly the service experience i want at a place like this, welcoming and informative without being overbearing at all, he did a great job with a bar that got busier as i sat there. no kitchen but they do chips and salsa. decent beer list, i had the stout and the porter and liked the porter quite a lot better. they make their own soda in here too, and blend a little of the cream soda into the porter to make a vanilla version that was also delicious. mostly basic styles on tap, but things seem hand made and thoughtful, just not overly ambitious. i had a good time in here, great music on the system, relaxed energy and excellent service. a different taproom vibe too, real homey. would recommend it if you are hitting the breweries on this side of town. one of my favorite stops of the day for sure in this area!

Opened January 2018. Nice new building. A family run business. 12 taps. Seats 10 at the bar, seating for about 50 at tables and 8 more on couches. There is a patio area, gas fire pit etc. Could use a foot rail at the bar. Stools are not real comfortable. But really nice beer.
