Mackenzie Brewing Company

Located in a strip mall just off the interstate. It's pretty small, with no food but right next to Sugarfire BBQ. The beers are mostly solid. The Gemini was tasteless. Their Belgians are pretty good. Barleywine was great. They only had 6 beers on tap, but a unique mix of styles.

Located in a small strip mall, just off of I-44, this is a new brewery. It had only been open for about six weeks as of our visit. Clean, sparten, and relatively small, the brewery has a long L-shaped bar. It was slow on a Sunday afternoon, although through a glass door, you could see a brewer hard at work. They had only three beers on tap, along with a local craft cider. A brown ale was the best of the three, but unfortunately the other two beers were not great (a vanilla porter and a Belgian Saison). They don't serve food, but that isn't a problem with Sugarfire Barbecue next door. I hope the beer improves over time.
