12oz pour in a non-stemmed, flat glass in the taproom.
Amber brown colored body. Beige colored head. Leaves behind irregular lacing spots.
Aroma is faint with caramel malts.
Taste is sweet and boozy. Flavors are malt heavy, with caramel, brown sugar, and a hint of chocolate and dark fruits (dates). Low bitterness level. Caramel aftertaste fades with the higher ABV%.
More than medium mouthfeel. Some stickiness. Higher ABV% is warming but avoids a burn. Supportive carbonation.
Fits for style with the boozy, caramel profile.
