Poured a black body with one-finger khaki head that quickly died with no lace. Definitely get some vanilla in the aroma, but there are notes of coffee and booze in the aroma as well (the cocoa almost makes the coffee smell like fudge). Smooth, thick, sticky, mostly hidden booze (I know it was over 10 percent), with a chocolate syrup-like sweetness and some vanilla as well in there. Good balance, woody smoothness makes it pass easy and easy to drink, and along with good balance and some heat in the finish this is a beer well worth trying.
