355ml can poured into tulip.
Pours a hazy burnt orange with one finger of sand head that leaves some undersea coral lace as it recedes.
Smells of sugared grapefruit, orange juice, honeyed biscuit, pineapple chunks, wet soil and sappy pine.
Tastes of biscuity caramel malt, muddled citrus hoppiness, pineapple, melon, hard water, more earthy yeast and piney hops.
Feels full and lively. Medium bodied with peppy carbonation. Finishes dry.
Verdict: Recommended. A decent enough IPA that tends to stay in the middle of fruity and piney.

Appearance - Pours an amber copper with two fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - earthy, leafy, piney, and hint of citrus hops, grapefruit peel, hint of pine resin, caramel, bready malts, and earthy yeast.
Taste - earthy, leafy, piney, and hint of citrus hops upfront. The grapefruit peel, hint of pine resin, caramel, and bready malts follow suit. The earthy yeast rounds out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with the hops and malts lingering.
Overall - An IPA that delivers more on the taste front than on the aroma front. I feel as though the aromas are a bit muted and with the taste the flavours are more pronounced. Still, a worthy IPA and nice first go for me from this brewery. I like the artwork on the can of the diving fox.
