Appearance - Pours a straw gold with three fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - earthy, leafy, and herbal hops, lemon, grainy and bready pilsner malts, hint of citrus, and earthy yeast.
Taste - earthy, leafy, and herbal hops upfront. The lemon, hint of citrus, and bold grainy and bready pilsner malts follow suit. The brew is rounded out by the earthy yeast.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes crisp and clean with the pilsner malts lingering.
Overall - A pleasant and highly sessionable pilsner. This one is very flavourful and I like how the malts linger in the aftertaste. Well done High River Brewing!
