My vendor had several Sonder brews today so I am trying the first. It's a light hazy pale ale (definitely not an American IPA) In BA world, it should be an American Pale Ale.
It pours a hazy light yellow (pale!) with tons of nice lacing. The aroma is a nice hoppy stench, but dry, like the taste. There aren't enough malts in this beverage to balance a lot of hops, but they did nicely with what is there, leaving a dry, clean tasting ale. This would go well with food.
Recommended. This brew is a value, but is also a nice, easy-going ale that might be a gateway to bigger brews for some drinkers,

I have mostly been very enthusiastic about the beers from this brewer ... This is a solid yet unexciting entry into their catalogue of brews ... Slightly above-average, just not "special"
