Milkshake IPA with mangoes. Poured from a can into a Woodburn tulip. The pour is solid orange with an impressive 3 fingers of rocky peach-colored foam that has outstanding retention. I get lots of citrus notes on the nose. Mango (of course), as well as lemon, peach, and hints of orange and grapefruit.
Medium-light body with a firm feel. Up front there is a little biscuit-like toasted malt, lots of mango, and a fair amount of vanilla. As the beer moves across the palate the hops come in and really intensify the citrusy character and bitterness, but there is ample sweetness to balance it all out. The malty notes die off towards the back of the palate, but the mango and the vanilla make it all the way to the finish.
Excellent milkshake IPA. I don't know what else to say. If you live in or around the Queen City and you're into craft beer, go visit them and check out their offerings. I have been thoroughly impressed
