12 ounce can, canned on 10.16.20. Served in a weizen glass, the beer pours a dark reddish/brown color with about an inch or so off-white head that stuck around a while. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is nice but subtle, the brew smells like wheat/grainy malt, chocolate, clove and banana. Taste pretty much follows the aroma, with the addition of some dark bready flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit slick and smooth with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought it was a good easy drinking brew, although I wasn't able to try this one fresher since I bought it just recently. Worth a try if you're into dunkelweizens! $9.99 a 6-pack.

From the growler via Jungle Jim's Eastgate in a snifter. This
solid little brew pours a dark brown with a nice head of off white foam
that subsides to a thick ring, thin light film, and shows subtle lacing.
Nose of subtle banana, light clove, and subtle chocolate with hints of
grains. Flavors exceed the nose with a balanced banana and light clove
note with some dark chocolate and dark breaded notes with light grain
notes on the rear with a subtle herbal hop. Nice mouth feel; medium
body, medium carbonation that makes this one rather sessionable.
and a faintly dry finish.
overall, a solid session brew from a great little brewery
Cheers

Edit 5/7/2022: This seasonal beer is brewed for the winter. It has a sibling, a Hefeweizen called Schwester (sister). Schwester was recently renamed to simply "Hefeweizen".
According to the brewery, Bruder (brother) will most likely not return.
