Frosted - Strawberry

Milkshake IPA with strawberries and vanilla. Poured from a can into an Upland tulip. The pour is very hazy with a distinct red color and a big 3-finger head of slightly pink foam. Very good retention. On the nose I get lots of hoppy aromas of orange zest, lemon, some grapefruit, and the strawberry and vanilla.

Medium body with a silky feel and an interesting flavor that toes the line between citrusy, tart, and creamy. Up front I get some brief bready, biscuit-like notes with a little vanilla. They are quickly overtaken by citrusy flavors of oranges and grapefruit and tart strawberries. All of the fruit carries to the finish, which is like a fruit salad without sugar. Just a really refreshing beer. I don't think it works as well as Pina Colada frosted or Orange Julius Frosted, but it's still good. I'll always be willing to try a milkshake IPA from Sonder. They're definitely top-shelf.
