16 ounce can, canned on 03.05.21. Served in a snifter, the beer pours a very dark brown color with about an inch tan head. Head retention is decent, and there isn't much lacing. Aroma is nice but subtle, the brew smells mostly like peanut/peanut butter, along with some roasted malt and dark chocolate. Taste is pretty much like the aroma, with some peanut, peanut butter, roasted malt, dark chocolate and light coffee flavors. The peanut is the strongest in both the aroma and taste. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's slick with a good amount of carbonation. I liked this brew OK, although it's more peanut than anything else. Doesn't remind me of a Buckeye candy as much as I thought it would due to the lower amount of sweetness and chocolate flavor. Not a bad brew by any means, but I recommend this one more to people who like peanuts.
