An unlabeled pint can purchased from the store:
L: Dark, cola black. Didn't get any head, failed at getting the glass clean again, it seems.
S: The peach brandy aroma is so distinct that even I recognize it. It's quite pleasant. The alcohol becomes more pronounced with repeated sniffs, as does the malt.
T: Pretty complex first sip. My brain couldn't quite keep up with the changing array here. At first there is carbonation, followed by a hit of the malt. The peach brandy soaks in afterward. The alcohol is noticeable and warming. It leaves with a sort of spirit-like coating, like what you get after pounding a shot.
F: Pretty full-bodied with plenty of carbonation. A bit creamy, but also oily slick.
Pretty unique slow sipper for me. I like it. Sort of a nice cocktail vibe going on here. Never sure how to score something that deviates so much from standard, even though it's just a different choice of barrel in this case.
