An IPA with loads of Riwaka & Citra Cryo! We used a brand new yeast strain for this tasty treat! Coming in at 6.5% and 25 IBU's this will be a very nice drinking IPA.

A creamy white head is short-lived as it falls from one-half inch to one-eighth inch. A coating of fine lace forms on the pint glass above a pale straw liquid (SRM 1-2).
Spicy hops lead to a strong pine-straw aroma. The middle is comprised of light garlic and a hint of cat hair. The hops are very earthy from top to bottom. Slight warmth reveals grapefruit pith and light citrus.
Initially, there is a sense of strong lemon. The bitterness and sweetness are each fairly high and well balanced. Light tartness is apparent in the middle, with white bread, faint pineapple, and a light white wine. The finish is long and mild, starting sweet and ending bitter, with lime flavors.
A delicate, silky-smooth texture and medium to light body. Alcohol is as expected, and carbonation is light. Overall this is slightly more dry than sweet.
Live Spasm is a nice, mild IPA. While I like the milky appearance, I consider it a major deviation from the style. By no means is this a starter IPA. The citrus pith qualities build very pleasantly with warmth.
