Appearance: Pours a clear amber color with a full three finger head; excellent retention and a few shards linger
Smell: Primarily piney with some subtle stone fruit tones and malt in the background
Taste: The pine flavors arrive early and build from there right through the finish; underneath there are some soft malt tones as well as a vague stone fruit and kumquot element; the bitterness is moderate to high
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: This one is a good old fashioned IPA; it has been a while since I have tasted the pine
