It pours dark brown with a tan head. It has very good head retention. There are strong and rich coffee aromas and flavors. There are some roast and hints of vanilla. It has a medium body and a bitter aftertaste.

Appearance: Arrives black with a small tan head; spots of lace
Smell: Dark bread and chocolate tones; earthy and grainy
Taste: Chocolate and toasted dark bread forward; earthy, through the middle, with a dry finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: This is a very nice dry stout; very much in the Irish style

A: Looks kind of like cola when poured. Dark, opaqued, reddish- brown. Sorry lived tan head.
S: dry, malty.
T: dry, mild roastiness, a little bitterness. Pretty uneventful.
M: medium- light
O: overall it's an ok irish stout. Nothing to write home about but nothing to complain about either.
