From the pint can, it pours a clear browning amber color with a just off-white head that slowly diminishes. Lacing. The nose gets roasted malts and possibly a little grassy hops. The mouth gets a pleasant roasted malt flavor, not overwhelming with caramel (a benefit) that leaves a light bitterness on the tongue which is also not overwhelming.

16 ounce can poured into a dimpled mug.
Canned 8/9/23
Medium orange-amber and slightly cloudy with a big, malty, bread and honey nose. The one inch tan foam head hangs around for a minute or so. Malty beginnings, light sweetness, bread crust and honey with herbal and some spicy hops picking up. Hints of corn and light esters. Medium-weight creamy body with enough carbonation for an underlying crisp feel. Finishes moderately bitter. Well balanced and very drinkable, maybe a little light on flavor but a good representation.

The text on the bottom of the can is a bit smudged and difficult to read but part of it says: "CANNED" "08/09/23 1219" "BINGO IS FOR LAGERS"
Appearance: It has a dark bronze body with hints of golden brown and orange. the body is dark but there are other elements that contribute to its difficulty to see through, such as an opalescence and a light haze. It has a short head which is white and quickly fades out to a thin ring leaving no lacing. It's not much to look at in the glass but the color is nice.
Aroma: There is a pleasant aroma which is slightly nutty and tea-like. A malt aroma comes through which is prominent. There is an herbal note which smells fresh and a slightly spicy character which isn't quite mint-like but close. The spicy character is nice because it pushes back on the nutty and malty aromas a bit, giving it some more character.
Taste: It has a bit of a dusty bookshelf character which probably sounds weird. A nutty and slightly sweet malt flavor pops in and there is also a character which is light but it tastes like lemongrass. After a while it picks up a bit of a toasty flavor in the malt character. The beer manages to be a bit sweet and nutty while also tasting bright.
Mouthfeel: Right up front you can feel that the beer is well attenuated. It is clean, it is crisp, it hits the palate with full flavor and then pops right off the tongue when it needs to. It feels medium-light in body with good levity brought by the carbonation. It's enjoyable to drink.
Overall: The beer is obviously well made given how it presents itself on the palate. There are flavors in the beer which have a sweet quality to them without tasting overly sweet which is really nice. It has this nutty flavor mixed with a somewhat toasted malt flavor and the whole thing just tastes clean. There is a bit of a lemongrass flavor to the beer which seems to freshen it up a bit and even cool off the palate. The mouthfeel and overall presence of the beer is the clear winner but the aroma and flavor are great too. I'd recommend it and I'd buy it again.

16oz can poured into a SA glass
A- pours a clear deep amber color with a one-finger creamy white head that has great retention
S- malty caramel, toasted bread crust, floral hops
T- sweet and malty with caramel and doughy malt up front. Mid-palate gives some light floral hops, along with some red berry notes. The finish gives more doughy malt & fruit cake, lingers of caramel and toasted bread.
M- light-medium body with medium carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel and a crisp finish

Maybe I need to try this again, or try it on tap if possible, because this was probably one of the most unusual examples of an Oktoberfest I've ever had based on the single can I bought. Wayyyy too sweet and bizarrely hoppy.

This baby pours a deep amber hue. This is certainly more on the Märzen than a pale fest bier. I'm not complaining. This has that sweet roasted nutty aroma and a smooth rich nutty taste to it. It's smooth, full bodied. Definitely more suited to the colder fall days of October and November than the warmth and sun of August, but nonetheless, an enjoyable treat as it is a well-made Märzen.
