My first beer listed under this style!!!! The can says it is brewed in collaboration between Bingo Beers (Richmond VA) and Benchtop Brewing in my local area (Norfolk VA). The can also says it is brewed in the Polotmavy Lezak style (whatever that is). I poured it from a 16 oz can into a pint glass. Beautiful clear copper color with a medium sized antique white/light cream colored bubbly/foamy head. Head retention was about average, fading to a thin covering of the glass, but it left plenty of foamy lacing rings on the glass. A good-looking beer!!!!! The nose was pretty good, malty with some grassy hops but the flavor was more robust. Strong malt flavor with a little toffee, mild bitterness from grassy hops. Much better flavor than a 4.2% .abv would lead you to expect!!! Mouthfeel was rich and crisp, once again surprising for a beer with this low an alcohol content. Nice balance between dominating malt and supporting hops. An excellent exmple of a session beer!!!
