i havent loved the hoppy beer in here so fat, not at all actually, but they are going in the right direction for sure, and this one was pretty tasty overall, i think a better combination of ingredients, with german noble type hops and riesling grapes, makes sense, and its quite a bit more delicate than the others i have had. it almost looks like a pilsener in the glass, golden and shiny and quite clear, with a short lived white head, their presentation of these beers is always so on point in here, classy all the way, they really make their beers look amazing in the glass, across the board. the aroma here is spicy and bitter earthy hop, a little more intense than i expected from this family of hops, a little green and bitey, but with some neat balancing sweetness, more from the grapes than from the malt, which borders on inconsequential here. light body and nice carbonation hit the palate first, then a delicate vinous layer, sweet, with notes of apple and white currant, a touch piquant too, and then the hops, which come on strong but dont bulldoze it. a floral jasmine sort of note with the grassy bitterness at the end, and a pretty clean finish with just a bit of linger from the hops. i like that the riesling comes through, makes this a little more mellow and refined than their other hoppy beers, and while these still arent the best of what they do, they are definitely trending up!

L:. Pours a clear very pale straw yellow with a medium fizzy head that dissipates quickly and leaves no lacing.
S:. Fragrant floral hops mixed some ripe tropical fruit, and anice Riesling grape interwoven through out. Smells hoppy and winey at the same time.
T:. Strong punch of floral hops from the German hops, with a punch of ripe citrus all balanced out by Riesling grapes, finishes dry but not as dry as a brut IPA. A medium bitterness, really like what the grapes add to this IPA.
F:. Light to medium body, higher carbonation.
O:. This is a fantastic IPA that is quite unique due to the addition of the grapes and German hops. Very unique and one of my favorite IPAs.
