Served in a stemless wine glass
This beer pours a deep pink to purple hue. It is hazy and topped with an inch of beige head that leaves spotty lacing.
The smell is raspberry, vanilla, and butterscotch.
The taste starts out with raspberry and vanilla. I get a little of that butterscotch in the middle. The hops come through towards the end. I get some tropical fruit which is the highlights of the taste for me.
Medium bodied with a soft, creamy mouthfeel
The butterscotch thing going on is quite a distraction for me. It would probably be very good otherwise.
