Gettin' Blixen

I tried this beer off the tapper at the Brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured a clear amber with white head that did not leave much lace. The scent had good holiday spice, ginger, nutmeg, spruce, and cinnamon notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. There was nutmeg, and cinnamon, and pine resin presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.
