On tap at the brewery into pint glass. Pours slightly hazy pale golden straw color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention. Light spotty lacing and some streaming carbonation on the glass. Aromas and flavors of lemon, pear, apple, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, floral, grass, wood, peppercorn, light pine, and yeast earthiness. Light to medium pine, herbal, spicy bitter finish. Medium plus carbonation, light body, and crisp clean refreshing finish. Balanced bready/grainy malt and sticky hop mouthfeel. Nearly bone dry finish, no hop astringency. A bit yeasty but a spot on German style pilsner. Great all around.
