On tap. Poured a clear, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It smelled of citrus, pine and toasted caramel. Sweet caramel with citrus and a piney bitterness.

Taste: Complex, bread, malt backbone, balanced by multi hops. Big floral hop and malt grain nose. Dark copper, mostly opaque, with white head and not much head. Full body. 68 IBUs

I bought a bottle of this off the single shelf at Binnys. It poured a hazy copper with white head that is leaving a nice lace. The scent was very good with citrus peel and pine presence. The taste is off....i call it the "Shorts" chalky twang.....sweet malt at front with a bitter finish. The Mouthfeel is medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it's ok....they need to figure out the chalky problem....

Pours a clear, copper color. 5/4 inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of sweet malt, yeast, slight spice, hint of earthy malt, slight alcohol, and slight citrus hops. Fits the style of an American IPA. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of strong sweet malt, slight piney hops, slight citrus hops, alcohol, and a hint of caramel malt. Overall, great appearance, but the aroma and body while strongly malt have an unusual hop presence; weak, not well discerned, and spicy.

L: amber-orange
S: pine and citrus
T: pine and citrus, but sweet with a slightly bitter aftertaste
F: smooth with a kick at the end
O: a solid IPA, a bit different in how the sweet and bitter balance out, and another good beer from Bent River

12oz bottle poured into a pint glass
A: Hazy orange with a 1+ finger head that lingers
S: A touch muted. Grain, tropical fruit and citrus
T: Full of malt with some citrus, tropical fruit and a bit of baking spice on the finish
M: Medium-bodied, just slightly sweet
O: I like the tropical fruit and spice notes which make for a unique touch, otherwise a fairly straight-forward IPA

I could tell from the dark amber hue and intense aroma that I was in for a big IPA. It's bitterness hits hardest in its pine notes, and it has an odd sweetness to it at the end. A different but enjoyable IPA.
