Jerry's Honey Porter wasn't as good as the other beers I've had at Bent. It looked very similar to the Oatmeal Stout, very dark. It didn't have very much flavor though, and I couldn't really detect any honey flavor either. It wasn't a bad beer by any means, but I think Bent offers some better brews.

It took the bartender about 5 minutes to pour one of these, they are so creamy and foamy.
It came a nice dark black with some ruby highlights and a rootbeer float like thick everlasting head.
Smell was dominated by the sweet honey and fruity malts.
The taste was a nice mix of sweet honey and sligtly sweet malts with a bit of a dark fruity flavor.
Mouthfeel was a little thin with a nice dry finish.
Overall a tasty beer, a bit sweet, but good.

Pours black with a creamy tan head. It doesn't so much lace but instead coats the glass on the way down.
Smell is Sweet honey and burnt dark grain.
Taste is honey sweetness overtaking the bitterness of the dark grain. Chocolate and mild hop character in the finish.
Mouthfeel is creamy and full.
An interesting and unusual poerter. A nice change of pace.
