Brewers Notes: A taproom favorite and alter ego of Dank Is The New Juicy, This one is a DIPA hopped with Citra, Amarillo, Galaxy, Columbus and Magnum. Not too heavy for a DIPA but anything but thin.

Can poured into a spiegelau glass results in a murky orange liquid with a massive thred finger rocky off white foam cap , spotty lacings

Aroma is orange citrus, tropicals, pineapple

Taste is tropicals , little dank, little earthiness

Smooth full mouthfeel, hop flavor no bite

16oz can dated 7/29/22.

Pours cloudy gold with an inch-plus head of white. Plenty of smeared lacing with persistent retention. Peach, pineapple, grapefruit, and orange in the nose. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel. Juicy citrus on the palate with minimal malt or bitterness. Unripe peach, grapefruit pith, pineapple skin, and orange on the palate. Finishes with lingering juicy tropicals.

 

Pours a hazy golden sunset color with excellent lacing and a fluffy white head. Smell is dank,herbal musty floral /tropical hops. Taste dank citrus thats sweet and jucy melon, papaya. Mouth feel soft topical sweet and juicy.

 

Pours a dull hazy pale yellow with hints of orange hue mixed in with it, big fluffy off white head falls slow and laces quite well.

Aroma is big juicy topical fruit notes almost smoothie like some sweetness from overripe fruit notes and some malts sneaking thru. Has some light herbal like bitterness in the finish but basically a hazy without enough of a hop kick for me. Classic to style but I do prefer a little bitterness even in my hazy IPAs.

Taste is like the nose apparently went off about the lack of bitterness in the aroma instead of taste.

Mouthfeel is medium with smooth carbonation.

Overall fruit smoothie hazy , personally wouldn't repurchase as I do like a little more hop bite. But solid to the style so can't knock it too much.
